Our mission is to inspire social change.

Our promise was to provide an inspiring, high quality podcast around people's stories about, and tools for, social change. Fifteen episodes were recorded between 2018 and 2020 with guests from science, theatre, education, healthcare, and community work.

The series is complete. No new episodes are planned, and every conversation stays here, free to listen to and share.

Art Assoiants, co-founder and host

Art Assoiants (a-SOY-ants) is a scientist practitioner in applied psychology, with an MSc in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary. He has worked in front line mental health, program evaluation, and service design, always looking for new ways to cocreate social impact. Art lives in Calgary.

Chris Reyman, co-founder and executive producer

Chris is an improvising pianist who performs in jazz and experimental ensembles and composes for chamber ensembles, dance, film, and media. He is an Assistant Professor of music at the University of Texas at El Paso, and co-founder and Assistant Director of the Institute for Improvisation and Social Action (ImprovISA), an organization that uses performance and improvisation to empower communities.
